What to Make of Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. But be part of your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
